True Rates

Enter the originating number in the box below to find the long distance rates applicable from your calling area. For 8XX (Toll-Free) rates, enter the ring-to terminating number. For calling cards rates, enter the home or business telephone number used to form the calling card number.

Long Distance Rates

True Rates is the only rate plan we have. The rates are NOT introductory rates. All rates are all day, every day and all calls are billed exactly to the second. There is no minimum call duration, no monthly usage minimum, and no minimum period of service. Only answered calls are billed. You are billed for exactly what you use and no more, right down to the last second and the last $0.000001. Furthermore, AVCInc never adds any third party charges to your bill. If it's not on our rates pages, we don't charge for it. Only taxes, fees, and surcharges imposed by federal, state, and local governments will be added to what you find on these pages. These comments apply to all service types.

Alternate Rates

Alternate services are provisioned using different underlying carriers so the rates also differ. Generally, rates for alternate service are slightly higher than standard rates, but in some cases certain calls could be cheaper. You may use the alternate service in such cases. Standard and alternate services are billed the same way, and you can see the applicable rate group corresponding to the actual carrier in the detail for each call.

Dial-Up Internet Access Charges

Dial-Up Internet access charges include non-recurring (NRC), monthly recurring (MRC), and usage charges and are shown in the following table.

The Setup charge is assessed once for each user name and password authorized to access the Internet via dialup. The Service charge is assessed each month in advance of service and must be paid before service is provided. The Usage Rate charge is assessed per hour of connect time. The Reconnect charge is assessed to re-establish service after a service suspension. The Customer Use Agreement identifies other charges related to service abuse.

Billing Charges

Payment Charges

Payment charges are shown in the following table. These charges cover the cost of obtaining payment. The percentage is applied to the total bill excluding only the fixed amount shown below. For example, it would cost $0.87 to pay a $25.00 bill with MasterCard or Visa.

ACH (automated clearing house) debits and credits are transactions between an AVCInc bank account and your checking or savings account. With ACH debits, payment from the customer's designated account is initiated by AVCInc automatically when the monthly billing advice is sent. ACH credits require the customer to initiate the transaction to an AVCInc designated account upon receipt of the monthly billing advice.

Please note that your bank may charge you a non sufficient funds fee of $25 or more if you choose ACH debits and your account balance is less than your total bill on any billing day. This does not occur with credit cards. Also, bank transactions only occur on business days, Monday through Friday, when banks are open.

If you want to pay by check, you must select Checking when you sign-up and enter your bank routing and account numbers. Then contact us and let us know you want to pay by check and we'll configure your account accordingly.

Payment collection will be deferred for any billing cycle in which an active account would have a total debit less than $1.00. This is also true of all accounts paying by American Express or Discover because transactions less than $1.00 aren't supported by those credit cards. In such cases, the total bill may be rounded up to the $1.00 minimum upon account termination.

Late Charges

A late charge of 1.5% of the balance forward (minimum $5.00) is added to any bill which is overdue upon billing. Additionally, when the late charge is applied, any referral and volume discounts are lost.
